Product Overview

This 100% whole grain wheat flour is made from American hard red spring wheat and contains the nutritional benefits of grinding the whole kernel. It can replace white flour in most recipes with little or no modifications. It is light brown in color, with brown flecks throughout. Great for bagels, breads, brownies, cookies, muffins, pizza crusts, pretzels and rolls.

Snavely's Extra Coarse Whole Wheat Flour - EXCELLENT!

I purchased this because I was looking for "wholemeal" flour to make Irish Brown Soda Bread. To make this right, you need the right products...try and find "wholemeal" flour. You can, at $24/kg. Ridiculous. So, I took a long shot and, for the price of 2kg, I got 50 lbs! This flour is amazing!!! The bread tastes fantastic with the right texture. I just split the flour up into my glass canning jars and are storing them in a dark place. What I couldn't get in the jars, I keep in the refrigerator. This flour can be used for anything really. Ton's of fiber and vitamins as all the bran is left in the flour. I highly recommend it for anyone that uses a lot of whole wheat flour.

My search is over

I have been looking for a substitute for flour I could only get in Ireland. 20 years I've been looking and this is it. If you want a perfect wheaten soda bread... this is the stuff. Please don't stop selling this. 50 pounds will last a good while but I will be back.

My search is over

I have been looking for this flour in the United States for 20 years. I needed a substitute for Irish coarse whole meal that I could only get in Ireland. It's the essential ingredient for a proper wheaten soda bread. This is exactly what I needed. Exactly. A much bigger bag than I usually get but I will share with friends. Please don't ever stop carrying this product. I'm so thrilled.
